So I had planned to blog today (I know, crazy right?!) and tell you all about some of the awesome things God is teaching me in the last few weeks before I leave the country. But today's post will have to wait. Some things are just more important than others.
I hope to come back and share the story of how God prepared me in advance for the Race and even to be a team leader on the Race, but for now it's enough that you all know that I have been blessed with the opportunity to lead a World Race team during the next 11 months. I am deeply honored to be in this position and can't wait to love on people with my amazing team!
Our team name is "Divinely Appointed" and we chose that name because it was quite evident that God has something amazing in store for our team and none of us were placed here by accident. All that to say, there is a financial deadline coming up (in 2 days) that my entire team has to meet in order to leave the country in just over 3 weeks. God has already graciously provided for my needs and I look forward to Him meeting the rest of the team's as well.
One of my team members, Kaity, hasn't met the deadline yet. She is vital to my team, and I can't lead a team unless they are ALL there to support me.
