It’s been just over a week since I sent out my fundraising newsletter, and I am in absolute awe of the support I have been given. God is so good! Saying ‘thank you’ to everyone who has supported me does not seem adequate, and I want to express my genuine gratitude to each person who has come alongside me in this opportunity the Lord has given me.
To the people who have supported me financially, thank you! To the people who have given a listening ear to hear me talk about the World Race blogs I’ve read, thank you! To my uncle who’s given me TONS of advice about supplies I should purchase, thank you! (See photo below for my first experience with a ‘mummy’ style sleeping bag 
) To the people who have already begun praying for me, thank you! To my parents, who have done nothing but support me from the moment I accepted my position with the World Race, thank you! To my siblings who have helped fold support letters & put stamps on envelopes, thank you!
Thank you mom & dad for making a pit stop at Scheel’s so I could get sized for a backpack. I’ve now know more about backpacks, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, sleeping bag liners, & tents than I ever thought I would 🙂
