Almost Home!

Hello everyone!  Just wanted to give you an update on my life!  I’ve been serving here in a village outside of Jinotepe, Nicaragua for the past few weeks!  We’ve been doing a lot of ATL (Ask The Lord) ministry here!  The people that live here with us are great…but I feel like I’m just starting to get to know them and we are leaving in 4 days….I guess that’s the Race for you!  Anyways….things are great!  I think of home more and more as the end gets nearer!  Of course, I think a lot about the different restaurants I want to hit up when I get back….I’m always thinking of food…ha!  And I think about clean clothes!  And hot showers…endless….everyday!  And I think about sleeping in a real bed…ha!  I think about a lot of things!  I think about seeing my family!  I think about laughing with my friends again!  I think about all the stuff that I have to do when I get back!  But I also think about the end of the Race!  I think about saying goodbye to my new family and wondering about us staying in touch…and if that will happen…and for how long!  I think about all the things God has brought me through and taught me…and if I’m really going to be able to not forget about it!  I wonder if I really am changed!  And I know the answer to the last one….it’s a “yes”!  But I still think about it!  All of it!  That’s my life right now!  Crazy!  And I have no idea what’s going to happen next…and really….that’s just fine!

 

Please keep me in prayer, along with my team and squad….as we begin the transition to leave the Race and come home!  We need all the prayers we can get!  

 

I also wanted to give an update on my finances!  I only have $824 left to go so that everything is supported!  Please, if God has tugged on your heart…has spoken to you in some way to support me….please do so!  I really will appreciate every bit of it!  Thanks so much!
