I got shot…
Not once, not twice, ohh if it were only three times….but it was FOUR!
Two pricks in each arm and another to come in a month. I get really anxious and chatty with the thought of having a needle prick my skin…but it really wasn’t bad at all. The worst shot was for Yellow Fever, then Hep A and it was only for a second. I didn’t really notice the Polio or Hep B prick. I like to think I made the nurses morning, in my chatter I say some really random things. I laugh at myself even; I figure they’d rather laugh than have to work in awkward silence. At least, I know that’s what I prefer.
I also got some pills to take for Typhoid, but since I was inoculated with so many other vaccinations, the nurse told me to wait two weeks before I started it. When we get back next year I’ll need to get my third and final Hep B shot and second Hep A shot. I was told I’ll be 95% vaccinated and I have no doubt that God doesn’t mind taking care of the remaining 5%.
