Well. It happened. Somehow, all of the money came in for my trip.
Wait—what??
You read correctly… I am officially fully funded for the World Race!! I guess that means I’m really going. Y’all, I am so blown away at God’s faithfulness. I’ve posted a few times before about how it’s been an uphill battle learning to trust God to provide. But just look at what He’s done! I prayed, you prayed, we all prayed hard, and He answered. Like I should have expected anything less?
God is always faithful, He always has been. He was faithful to lead the Israelites to the Promised Land, He was faithful to protect Daniel in the lion’s den, He was faithful bring Lazarus back from the dead; He has been faithful to me my entire life. Why would He be any less faithful now? He asked me to go, and He has made a way. For me, this is the ultimate confirmation that this is exactly where He wants me to ne this year. And it is the ultimate testimony of all the amazing things to come. If God has been this faithful, and I haven’t even left yet, what incredible blessings does He have in store in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and the 8 other countries I’ll be traveling to?
In years past, I’ve been taught to expect BIG things from God. I mean, He is a BIG God, after all, the God of the UNIVERSE. But so often, my faith is as small as a mustard seed.

Really, sometimes it feels this small.
“He replied, ‘If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.’” –Luke 17:6
So, I’m re-learning to expect BIG things from God. The same powerful God who created the entire, vast universe is the same God who lives in us today. So, we need to expect BIG, pray BIG, keep our eyes open for the BIG things God cando and will do. I am so thrilled to share with you all what BIG things He is going to do this year in me and through me and my team in eleven different countries this year. Get READY!
For those of you who are still planning to donate, Fear not! I am still in need of a little extra to cover any costs throughout the year that will not be covered by the money in my support account. In addition to a few small gear essentials I still need, we have been told we will need about $100 per month to cover costs for restocking our toiletries & clothes, meals outside of our ministry locations, and any extra adventures we may partake in. If you would still like to donate, please send any checks made out to Sydney Woods to the following address:
2488 Cash Canyon Rd.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone for helping me be fully funded. I am so grateful, so blown away by your generosity. Love you all.
