If you read my blogs, you’ll probably learn more about me than I can fit into one little “About me” section. So for this I’ll give you some brief facts about where I come from and who I am.

  • My hometown is Loganville, Georgia.
  • I am the middle child of three girls, so I have two lovely sisters: Sadie (older) and Chelsea (younger). Both of them are beautiful, smart, and caring so they’ve definitely helped shape me into who I am today.

(that would be Sadie, Chels, and then me)

  • I have two wonderful parents who have been supportive, encouraging, and loving my entire life.

  • I graduated from Loganville High School in 2010.
  • I went to Darton College in Albany, GA from 2010-2011 where I was a part of the DC swim team.
  • I transferred to the University of Georgia in 2011 and graduated with my BS degree in mathematics in May of 2013.
  • GO DAWGS!
  • I attend and am a member of Athens Church. If you live in or around Athens, GA you should check it out!
  • I recently graduated from UGA (again) with my MAT degree in Math Education. So I’m certified to teach 6th-12th grade mathematics.
  • I still love the sport of swimming and do a lot of coaching with Walton Waves, Youth Swimming, and Loganville High School. My swimmers keep me sane while driving me crazy, and inspire me while annoying me every day. I love them!

  • I have (or should I say, my family has) a dog named Pretzel. She’s adorable, and if you ever talk to me, I’m sure I’ll mention her.

  • My favorite color is purple.
  • I’ll eat pizza any time of any day.
