Looking back on this journey I can honestly say that I never pictured myself in this position. When I went to Haiti in 2015 I didn’t think that I would ever return. It wasn’t that I didn’t like being there, I absolutely loved it. It was that I didn’t think I would be able to financially support another mission trip. When I heard about the World Race the first thing that I knew was that I had to go. The second thing that I knew was that $15,000 was a lot of money! I wasn’t sure that I would be able to reach the goals by certain deadlines, and I’m still a little skeptical, but with the help of friends, neighbors, complete strangers, my church and God I successfully met my first goal and am working towards the next. I will be leaving for training camp for 10 days tomorrow. At training camp I will meet my squad, learn more about the trip and train for the physical aspects of the trip. I am incredibly nervous but equally excited for whatever this may bring. Prayers for safe travel and encouragement would be greatly appreciated at this time! If you are interested in helping me reach my second goal of $10,000 click the donate button at the top of my page! As always NEVER hesitate to ask me any question that you have!
