So I definitely procrastinated on this months blog post…it’s short, sweet and to the point!
Before I fell asleep a couple weeks ago I couldn’t stop thinking about the race. My mind wouldn’t stop swimming with thoughts like “Am I going to be able to do this”, “How will I raise that much money”, and “Am I worthy of this?”. I fell asleep doubting a dream that I’ve had for a long time, only to be woken with a phone call. I won’t share with you the full details of the conversation, but this phone call destroyed all of my fears. I was told by the caller that I would be supported no matter what and that they knew that this was something that I had to do, not only for me but for those that have chose not to pursue their dreams and regretted it. This phone call opened my eyes to the amount of support that I have, the amount of people who believe in me and believe in my dream. In the past two months I’ve received so many kind thoughts, comments and questions and I could not be more grateful. Your kindness and support has overwhelmed me, and I’m not sure that i’ll ever be able to show you all enough gratitude. It is so amazing to see how the Lord has spoken to me and provided through each and every one of you and I cannot wait to see where this journey will take us all.
