While being here in Moldova we have been working in a
Village. We are staying at the Pastor’s house. They have two beautiful girls
and some animals. Over the days we have been able to get out and do work again.
One day we were able to go help set up a camp. They have a
children’s camp in the forest. And from the tents they have you think it would
be some type of army or something. They are nice. The people remind me of camp
people from back home as well. They are people that love the Lord and love
kids. They have actually been to Kanakuk Kamp in Missouri, which is an awesome similarity we
have. Who would have thought being in Moldova meeting a couple who has
been to my state and to a youth camp I went to. Well they went there to learn
about youth camps and what it should look like. They have a great passion and
vision for the camp and have been doing it for 8 years now. So in our 10 days
here, we may be able to help with the camp some.
We have also been helping out at the church. We Played
music, give testimonies on Sunday. We worked in the yard during the week. We
have been pulling down trees, clearing out land, playing with the kids.
And I can’t forget to mention the delicious food, here in Moldova and Romania the food has been
wonderful. Home grown goodness! Fresh fruits and veggies, homemade juice, and
if you want a snack just go to the nearest tree and pick yourself something to
eat.
It has been a great couple of days!
