It’s the end of the race and I can’t believe it. Did I really just travel around the world? Did I really just help the kingdom of God grow a little? Do I really have a new family that loves me after seeing me at my best AND my worst? YES, YES, YES!
We did it. It’s pretty insane. Before I left on this trip I viewed the world as so big and soooo different. Now I can see that everywhere that I have been, people are the same. We all have feelings, we all want to be loved, and we all want someone to simply just listen to us. We all want what is best for our families. Now, the world seems so much smaller.
Those that I have met on this trip are just like you and me. They are human, they have feelings, and they hurt, and they even laugh and cry. It has been an honor to meet new people everyday. All of these people are loved by the same God, and that means that they are my brothers and sisters in Christ. I will never forget there faces, and they are forever in my heart — especially the children. I have seen some of the most beautiful children in the whole world…
I have seen these children live so much life in there young years. I’ve seen children live lives that they were not intended to live, and I CAN’T forget. They will forever be in my heart. Even if I couldn’t change their life situations, I knew just holding them, hugging them, laughing with them or just simply smiling at them was enough.
The World Race is over but that doesn’t mean anything. I still can impact a life anywhere I go. It is said that the face is the feature which best distinguishes a person. So the next time you go out, what kind of face are showing the world?!
Here are just some of the beautiful faces that I was blessed to capture this year.
To all my supporters, I really can’t say thank you enough for supporting me. Not only have you blessed me, but you have blessed nations. You are a world changer.
And…. I love you all with all my heart!!!
