We have arrived in Nepal and it is AMAZING!! Such a breath of fresh air after being in Africa. I LOVE it here. I LOVE this continent! I LOVE this country. Nepal is competing with Thailand for my favorite country so far!
We are currently in Kathmandu, Nepal. AND we took an airplane ride this morning to see Mt. Everest and the Himalayas! (which, there would be a picture right here of that if I could get one to upload!:):) It was incredible! I feel SO blessed and fortunate for this experience!
I cannot tell you how excited I am about our ministry this month as well as the fun activities we have planned. I cannot believe that this is my life right now! Here are a few to the things we plan to do this month:
** We are touring around the eastern side of the country with a soccer team. We will be helping with the snacks, water, photos, videos, medical clinic, as well as praying for people and meeting many people at these events. I am SO excited about the medical clinic. I have been wanting to help in another medical clinic since Nicaragua and here is my chance!
**We are going to be helping with an orphanage as well. We are helping with construction for the building as well as other things we will find out when we get there. I am SO excited about this opportunity!
**We will be trekking into the mountains about 5 hours to visit a village and spend time there. Not sure of everything we will be doing while there, but again, I will find out when we get there!
** And to end the month, we will be canyoning/repelling/rock climbing/hiking close to the himalayas just for fun!
I can barely type this blog because I am SO excited and my mind is going crazy. I feel SO loved and am absolutely loving my life.
Oh, and to top this all off, we just found out our coming home date!!! Here is a link to a video my friend Kathryn made announcing when we will be back in the U.S.A.!! You can see the faces of all of the teammates I have been hanging out with for the past year!
