SO basically, this picture depicts my favorite part of Rwanda: holding children in church.  Seriously, if I could choose what I did for every second of my day in Rwanda, this is what I would do practically ALL of the seconds.  I love it.  I love them.  I want them each to know that they are LOVED, SO DEEPLY AND DEARLY LOVED!!!!

LOVE:  This has been my focus on this trip and this really is what I want my whole life to be about.  Loving people.  In whatever way I can.  Just simply loving them.  This month, I think that loving people the best way that I can involves hugging every single child that I can.  Touching every little hand that I can.  Making goofy faces at the children to make them laugh.  Singing with the children.  Fighting to sit with the children and hold them, even though people don't want me to because I am an "important white person."  And my favorite way to love this month is letting a little child fall asleep on my lapsmiley

Here are some more photos of my time here!

This little girl is a sweetheart.  She comes running to hug us every time we pass by her house.

Here is Pastor Innocent & Vanesia.  This is the couple we have been working with this month.  Our team planned a date night for them so that they could take a break for a few hours.  They are SO kind!

We had a Christmas in July party!  This is our fireplace via youtube and our stockings!

These twins are some of my absolute favorites!!  I love, love, LOVE these kids!  They are so stinky, which makes me love them even more.  They always have torn clothes and roam about wherever they want.  I am not sure how cared for they are, but our team loves them like crazy!  Today, they came to our house and got food, baths, and new clothes, thanks to one of my teammates, Anjali!  If I could take them home with me I SO SO would!!!

More of our favorite children getting fed at our house.  The boy on the left is our neighbor.  He comes to our gate every morning just to hang out to see us.  He is a stinker which is probably why he is one of my favorites.  I tend to like the naughty kids! smiley

This past Tuesday, we invited all the children in the neighborhood for a special service.  We sang songs, told Bible stories, made sure each was fed a snack, and gave them beans or rice to take home.  We planned for about 50 children to show up.  Approximately 135 children came!  Even so, there was enough food and snacks for everyone to receive some!!!  Thank-you Jesus!!

One of my favorite twins hanging out by the bags of rice and beans.

How can you NOT love these cute little boys!!!!

LOVING THE CHILDREN!!!!!

We only have about three days left here before we head to Uganda!  I am SO excited for Uganda.  Our ministry contact has 22 orphans that live with him.  I have SO wanted to help out at an orphanage in Africa and that dream is coming true next month!!

Would appreciate your prayers as we are getting a little exhausted from this trip.  Pray that we have renewed energy to love and live well this next month and the months to come.  Pray that we have patience with each other and adapt well to our surroundings.

Thank-you so much! smileysmiley
