These stories aren’t just my stories.

This trip isn’t just my trip.

Sure, I am physically here, walking around dirt roads in my dusty chacos, but that doesn’t change the fact that

this World Race is just as much your journey as it is mine.

You see, I could not be here without you. Your support and encouragement and prayers- they are the only reason I am able here! Being on the mission field every day for eleven months straight, I cannot begin to properly express how essential and needed it is to know you are supported at home by dear friends.

The Race has been the most beautiful picture to me of how the body of Christ is undeniably and intricately interconnected. We are one. And our stories are not just our own, we are connected within God’s bigger story. His story of what he is doing, and we get to be a part of it, together.

Last month in the Philippines, we met Bishop Bacani, who we quickly adopted as our Grandpa.

Grandpa is a spiritual powerhouse, having founded over 50 churches around the Philippines as well as the Christian school we served at in Manila.

Every morning Grandpa would encourage us to

“Tell your friends in America what you have seen here in the Philippines, what God is doing here, so that they may be encouraged to hear that God is at work here, and to know how God is working here.”

So look for more blogs to come soon, telling you what we have seen in Albania, Serbia, Romania, India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, and in the Philippines, as well as what we will see in Swaziland this month and South Africa next. I am excited to introduce you to the faces of people who have changed my life and the stories that have forever changed my heart.

These stories are your stories

I am so thankful to be on this journey with you.
Thank you for choosing to walk with me.

Two months and counting.
