What story does your family always tell about you?
Background information:  my grandfather (PePaw) was a veterinarian.  Whenever he put an animal down, he said he "was putting it to sleep."
So… When I was 7, I was having really bad headaches and the doctor's couldn't figure out why.  They wanted to do a CAT scan, but you have to hold still it which is hard for a 7-year-old.  The story goes while the nurse was explaining to me how things would work and what would happen she said, "We'll give you a shot and put you to sleep."  At which point I literally turned and ran screaming down the hospital hallway because I thought she meant what PePaw meant when he said it.  Mom and Dad stood by the nurse trying a) not to laugh and b) to decide who would go after the still screaming child and who would explain what happened to the startled and confused nurse.
