Go with me for a moment and do a little imagining.
You are in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The minimum wage is around $80/month. It is a Buddhist nation.
Imagine, hearing God tell you to start a Christian school when you had next to nothing yourself.
Imagine building a house from grass with no floor, pouring cement on it to sleep, and then it becoming a house full of children that you are responsible for teaching.
A year later, you are randomly (from God) given support from Korea to build a school! If God calls you to something, He will provide.
After having a school for five years, you are given the opportunity to move to another school teaching 137 students!
A Grass House to 137 Students!
This is the school you have enabled me to serve at, Agape School in Siem, Reap, Cambodia. This school is one of the few schools that teach about Christ in a predominantly Buddhist nation. It is the only school in Siem Reap that is Christian. Christians are ridiculed if they go to other schools.
The pastor is the one who felt called to start a Christian school. He fully trusted the Lord’s plan despite having next to nothing. Today, it is a thriving school with beautiful children who are learning about Christ’s love, many for the first time. Kids coming from broken homes are learning about God’s redemption.
Fifteen children here are sponsored to learn at this school who have been brought from the streets!
What is God calling you to do?
Has He been whispering anything to you of His plan in how He wants to use you? Please do not doubt. Keep praying, He will provide and show you how it is possible.
