It's OFFICIAL !!!
I am funded to be able to go to Guatemala on September 10th! Thank you so much all of you for your support financially, with your prayers, and words of encouragement!

Thank you all for listening to God when He has called you to support me. He has done immeasurably more than I have imagined through all of you, my supporters. As mentioned, I don't want anyone to feel obligated to give; however, I am so grateful for those who have listened to God when He has called you to support this trip He is calling me to.
Prayer Requests:
1. Please pray for my team mates who are not fully funded for the deadline of $6,500 for August 16th. Please see this blog for more details: http://sethpowell.theworldrace.org/?filename=an-extra-push.
2. Pray for me for monthly supporters for this journey. If I have 11 people donate $100 a month until February or 21 people donate $50 a month until February, I will be fully funded! By 12/1/2013, my next deadline, I will need $11,000.
3. Pray for the people we meet in Guatemala, the first country we will be serving in. Pray that we are able to build relationships with the people there, share the hope of Christ, and love the people we encounter in a way that Christ would love them.
4. I am on a team of 6 beautiful women. Pray we can have unity throughout the eleven months, transparency so we can support one another and grow closer to Christ, and for safety and wisdom throughout.
