So many emotions in such a short week.
Excitement, Fear, Doubt, Joy,Overwhelmed!
Last Thursday, June 14th, I found out that I have been accepted to go on the World Race through Adventures In Mission.
What in the world is the World Race??
With a squad of 50 people, between the ages of 21- 35, we will travel to 11 different countries in 11 months. Our squad will travel to Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, India, Nepal, Mozambique, Swaziland, and South Africa beginning in September, just three short months away! In each country, we will split up into our teams of 7-8 people and work with different ministry contacts in each country. We will be loving those who often go unloved by caring for the orphans, praying for the sick in hospitals, doing construction, setting up Vacation Bible School, or anything that is needed at that time we arrive in the country. We will be living out of one backpack for the entire year, including a sleeping bag and a tent! Craziness!
I am so excited that despite being stubborn and trying to do things on my own, God is granting me the opportunity to serve His people and love them right where they are at.
Your Help
- First, thank you for reading my blog and seeing what is going on in my life!
- Prior to this opportunity, I knew I wanted an opportunity to help those in need but did not know how sometimes.
- I would absolutely love it if you joined me in this journey around the world.
Ways to Help
I would love your prayers throughout the next 11 months.
- If you would like to donate towards my cost of traveling and living, I would be so gracious and thankful.
- If you are unable to afford helping financially (which I completely understand) would you be willing to help me by selling bracelets I have purchased at your school, church, work, or somewhere else to help me raise funds? The website for more information is here about the bracelets: http://threadsofhope.com.ph/.

- Would you consider doing a fundraise event for those of you who are creative?
