Hello all,
Last night our squad received news that our route has once again changed for the fourth time! Although change is not easy, God has walked with me through the changes showing me that I can rely on Him. If you can remember back to the beginning of the route it looked like this: Romania, Ukraine, India, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines. First Ireland was put in place of the Philippines and boy did God bless our month in Ireland with wonderful ministry, people and thanks to a man named Hutch… Great food! Then our route changed from Ukraine to Moldova where the three all girls teams proved to the world that we can handle intense physical labor and do it while having fun! Next we were told that Sri Lanka had been changed to Nepal which happens to be a favorite country of Racers. I have only been here for a few days, but I love it already as it is filled with outdoor adventure activities. Oh, did I mention… Mount Everest lives here… just imagine how beautiful the scenery is! This brings me to the new route changes (yes, there are multiple). Next month is when we leave Asia and head to Africa and yes we are still going, only we are now going to Swaziland and South Africa!! The two countries have been changed due to safety issues and many diseases in East Africa. After South Africa we will still be going to Thailand, Cambodia and Malaysia, but now we will be ending in CHINA!!! I am very excited as I have wanted to go to China for years and now God is sending me there! Also, Swaziland has been the one African country that I have wanted to go to and wow, it is happening! The most recent route change is another affirmation that when you seek God in your work He will provide abundantly because He knows the desires of our hearts. So to recap, our new route looks like this, Romania, Moldova, Ireland, India, Nepal, Swaziland, South Africa, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and China. Although changes have happened to the route and may happen again, God is in charge of it all and will only use the changes to create something better for me.
