HAPPY BIRTHDAY…to me 🙂
So tomorrow, September 3rd, will be my 23rd birthday. It's so strange to sit here and write this blog and to think back to where I was a year ago and how much my life has changed! It's all been changes for the better. I found myself again…yeah, that might sound funny, but it's true. I have a WONDERFUL support system, a GREAT & LOVING family, two crazy pups that I am going to miss like CRAZY, and so much love to give to everyone that I can't wait!
In order for me to go and love on everyone I meet, I need help. I'm not very good at asking for help, from anyone, ever. So, raising support for my trip has been hard. Really hard. Luckily, I have some really awesome friends and a lot of my regular customers are super supportive. Once I start talking about the race and why I'm doing it to begin with, I can't stop talking…ask the guy who went out for guys night and then went home and told his wife he was late because his bartender, yes bartender, is a missionary. They came in the next day and talked to me for an hour. They have come in once a week to talk with me and check on my progress. It's just the ASKING people to help support me. I'm learning though..haha.
So, since tomorrow is my birthday and those of you that keep asking me what I would like, here it is.
I would like everyone that reads this to donate to my support account instead of giving a gift or even saying, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" That would make this the BEST birthday ever. So everyone, help me make this the best birthday ever and help me go on this race so I can help those around the world and give all this love I have to give!
