Hello from Nicaragua!
It is absolutely beautiful here and my team, the Table Turners, are loving every minute we have the privilege of spending with these people! We are living at a YWAM (Youth with a mission) base. Our ministry this month is manual labor, but we have gotten to spend our free time with the students enrolled in Bible School and Discipleship Training School. They have come from many different nations and range in age anywhere from 18-65 years old. We have had the opportunity to do ministry in the neighborhood, share meals, attend church, worship and pray with these beautiful people. They have become our family.
The Lord has pressed it upon our team’s heart to have a special evening for these students. Most will not see their family and friends for many months-much like us. Our team’s vision is to treat them to a nice meal and celebrate the work they are doing and the love of the Father that binds us all together.
Our team has calculated and we need to raise about $35 each to be able to celebrate all 30 people on the base. While that wouldn’t be possible out of our personal budgets this far into the race, we see this as an opportunity to invite our supporters into what God is doing here. If you would like to donate, any amount, please reach out. We would love to have our supporters come alongside of us as we shed love on people who are working so hard to make His name known in Nicaragua.
