Note: Due to lack of internet until recently, I have been unable to post blogs. This blog was written on the 10th of July even though it is just now getting posted. I hope to have a new blog or two about this last week up in the next day or so.

I am on the World Race and I am
excited!! After nearly 55 hours of traveling, including 3 flights, a
layover and a 10 hour bus ride, F Squad has arrived at its ministry
location in India for the month.

Team Found and Free heading into DC on the 4th of July

To be honest, travel day was not easy at all.The fact that I was in a foreign country on the complete other side
of the world from friends and family really hit me during the first
few minutes of the 10 hour bus ride as we rode through a completely
impoverished city in need of Christ.

I slowly began to grasp in that moment
the entirety of the 11 month trip that I have embarked on, and I was
scared. I know I will have many moments like that on the Race, but
that was my first real taste of it.

Fortunately, even though I am thousands
of miles away from friends and family back home, I am not alone. F
Squad and my team Found & Free are on this journey right
alongside me, and living in community with them provides a constant
reminder that Christ is in me, and that my Father is my comforter,
and as long as I continue to lean on Him everything will be great.

Today my team will be heading off to
spend a few days living in an orphanage of 10 boys ranging in age
from 4 to about 15 years old. While they are at school during the day
the six of us will be painting the house that they live in, and
making their over all living area awesome.

When they return from school, we will
spend the rest of the day and evening simply loving these 10 boys. We
will pour love onto them by encouraging them to practice the english
they are learning at school, eating breakfast and dinner with them,
singing songs and really just being around them.

I look forward to writing the next
blog with an update of how this week has gone and all that I have
learned from these 10 boys!!
