If this blog doesn’t have indentations Im really sorry. I’m typing it on my phone. Today I decided to get up and in true world race fashion find the nearest Starbucks to sit around and be semi-social via internet and parallel play with the town of Cumming, GA. Right now the speakers in the shop are playing a blue grass version of “I’ll fly away,” good ole boys are piling in for their morning pick me up before a hard day at work, and over sized trucks and suv’s are lining up at the drive-thru window. It’s beautiful to be home. I don’t have to try or be mindful of any cultural taboos or norms. They’re already ingrained in my brain. They’re instinct and natural. Life at home is a kind of muscle memory. Living at home is like a reflex. Your not trying or have to put effort. You just exist, and for now I love that. But just in typing the words, “you just exist,” I can understand why God would not like to have me here too long.

I’ve been telling folks that home does seem kind of foreign, and it does, but this morning was a little special. I’m glad that it does seem foreign though, it’s like a secondary reason to keep moving to where God is taking me. (The primary reason being seeking His kingdom.) it’s nice to see folks greeting each other in public places that know each other or don’t and being as nice as if they did. It’s nice to be back in that southern hospitality.

It’s nice to be able to know what to say, pay, and do, and to not do the math on what time it is at home. Instead of languages that sound like jiberrish, I here love and personalities. People smile back and nod their head at you when your eyes meet. There’s a genuine care that comes out of these people. It’s nice to be effortlessly aware. Aware of love from others around you, what people do or don’t expect from you, and aware of what the billboards you pass on the street say. This is Christ loving me BIG TIME!

Random thought: Are we effortlessly aware of Christ’s love for us?

But yeah the what I’ve got for y’all as far as blogging goes. Thanks to all my supporters for your obedience to The Lord. It’s so appreciated. Keep an eye out for a video blog to come soon!

Be blessed,
