I am extremely excited to introduce to you my team for the next year. As many of you know, I am travelling with a larger group of about 50 people during the race. When we get into country, we will separate into our smaller teams of 6 and 7. This team is like your family among family. They will be doing life with me every day and we will experience the race together. I am so humbled to be with this group of people I gladly call my brothers and sisters. They all are so dedicated to each other, even though we have only known each other for a little while. All of them love with reckless abandon and it is such a beautiful thing to see and be a part of. So, without further adieu (because I could rant on literally all day about these people), let me introduce my team and a little bit about each of them.

From right to left we have: Becca Mussatti, Katie Ruther, me, Alyssa Boyles, Lexi Williams, and Darron Chamlee.

Becca Musatti – She is out fearless leader. I love the way she has taken on the role with such humility. She is from California and is our team personal trainer. She will be kicking my butt with a workout in the mornings (which I really need) and also serving us the best she can. She has a willingness to go where God leads and take on whatever God puts in front of her. This all makes her someone I admire and appreciate.

Katie Ruther – The photo queen herself. She is going to make me change my mind about me not being photogenic. She loves photography and the outdoors. If you take a look at your profile on Facebook, you will begin to understand that love. She is also from California and it is such a blessing to have her on this team. She is honest with this team and will always strive for us to be open about what is going on with ourselves. Her humor can always brighten a room and make people laugh. She is such an amazing part of this team.

Alyssa Boyles – The first thing that comes to mind about Alyssa is kindness and gentleness. She has such a soft heart for everyone around her. She is the only introvert in our group, but she is thriving around us. She cares deeply for all of us and she would go out of her way to help any of us that are in need. She hails from Virginia. She was a teacher and I am sure she will bring that knowledge with her on the race.

Lexi Williams – Lexi is our prayer warrior! She is from Colorado and I have never seen someone so pumped about praying for those around her. She has a big heart for those who are in need around her. She is very good at bringing energy at the right times for our team. She also has some sweet dance moves (I could learn a thing or two). I appreciate the way she fully trusts God with The World Race. I can and will learn some valuable lessons from her on the Race.

Darron Chamlee – Darron is my fellow bro on this team. He has the most level head of anyone I have met. He never gets rattled during stressful situations. I love that he and I are able to talk about whatever we need to as bros. He is also very knowledgeable in so many different areas due to his military background. I am so blessed to call this man my brother.

This group makes up Team En Fuego! The name was a random thought that turned into a true declaration for our team. We are so on fire for this mission trip we are journeying on together. Our flames will burn strong together and we want to shine the light of Christ everywhere we go. I am beyond blessed by this group. We will have so many stories out on the field and we will return closer than we could ever imagine.

If you are looking to support me or anyone on this team you can do so on their blogs. You can also sign up to be a prayer partner for our specific team. Some of my teammates and I still need support before we leave the country on the 3rd, so if you can support us. Be looking out for some amazing posts from Team En Fuego in the future.

God bless
