I’m sad to leave behind the kidos we’ve come to know and love and the relationships we’ve formed. It stinks to just leave them all behind, part of me feels as though I’m letting the community of Barracones down by vanishing into my next place of ministry. But the other part of me knows God is calling me elsewhere.
Saying bye was tough. sadfaces, kids not understanding we won’t be back, and friends asking us after we go to Haiti if we’ll come back to live with them… but even though we won’t be here to see their continual harvest, I know God has being working through us and I cannot thank you all enough, my supporters, for supporting me like you guys have.
Here are some pictures of the kids you have touched and the memories of us they will never forget (there are way more on my facebook). I’m sad to not be able to continue to work on my Spanish skills anymore too and hear people call me “Americano!”, but also super excited to be heading over to Haiti!

this ones just to show I’m alive… me and shanco :]
