I am officially back home from the World Race. What a ride that was. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. I am grateful to the Lord for all that He taught me, all that He showed me and the wonderful community He brought into my life. What a blessing.
SO where do I go from here? That is the question I have been asking myself for the past month or so. Well truthfully I have been pondering this question and decision for quite some time. But now it is a reality and not just a theory.
The next step…
I have decided to stay in Austin for at least a year and join what the Lord is doing here in this great city. The Lord lead me to a part time internship with Austin Stone Community Church. I can not tell you how excited I am to be apart of this team. This next year I will be working with the missional community group. Learning how to lead leaders and lead my own missional community. The vision of this group is live life organically with believers and non-believers. I do believe this model is a radical way of living in community and reaching the city with love and authenticity.
For this position I am once again raising support and trusting that God will provide as He always does when we follow His plan for our lives. I ask that you would continue to follow me on this journey by my super new blog spot: stephaniewebster.wordpress.com.
I am also on the search for a part time job, and ask that you would continue to pray for me as I pursue the Lord’s plan not my own.
