Day 1 of The World Race!

After a 12 hour bus ride, a few subway adventures, and napping at a baggage claim, I've finally made it to Launch!!

First of all, for all the people who wanted to know about Megabus' services–it's awesome. Yay for traveling to DC for only $58!

Throughout this entire day, I've recieved numerous texts and phone calls from loved ones blessing me with prayers and sending me out to the nations. This outpouring of love has truly blessed me and given me strength throughout the day whenever I was anxious, tired, or simply unsure of what was next.

So I want to say thank you.

Thanks to all the family and friends who have sent me off with prayers and words of encouragement. They have blessed me more than you could ever imagine.

Thanks to all my supporters who have donated these past few months. God really did some amazing things in this area as I only started fundraising three months ago and to date, He has already brought in $13,400! What?! Thank you guys for believing in me and being obedient to the Lord.

And most importantly, I want to thank my family. Mom, thanks for letting me go. It's not easy to send your child into the world without any reliable communication, but thank you for trusting in God and sending me with your blessing. Andrea, thanks for understanding why I have to go and for introducing me to identity statements. You have been an incredible leader in my life and for continually praying for me. I love you guys so very much!

Updates: I'll be flying out to Bulgaria at the end of the week! Until then, I'll be taking a technology fast to prepare myself and to really focus on God. Love you guys!
