After Training Camp, I was really looking into what my purpose was with the World Race, and kind of what my role was on my squad and team. Through some discussions and prayer and processing, what kind of stuck out to me is that really I should be asking
What do I bring to my squad and team?
Sort of like Who am I? Obviously we can go search Scriptures and find some amazing Truths about who we are in Christ, and those are all great and applicable, but what I’m looking at here is who am I, Stephanie Marsteller, to my team and squad…how am I different than the next person and what can I bring and offer?
In looking at this I have compiled a list of 14 things. I know there are plenty more, but these are the things that stick out to me and those I’ve talked to about this. These are the things people often comment on and pick up in terms of who I am. Most of them are self-explanatory so I’ll just give you the basic list:
1. I believe Truth and apply it to my life.
2. I know what I believe and I stick to it…unwavering in my beliefs.
3. I have a high value for Truth in my life.
4. I am teachable.
5. I am dependable and reliable.
6. I think logically, am analytical and strategic.
7. I am deliberate in decision making and when answering questions or giving my
opinion on a matter.
8. I have wisdom and experience to share with others, which brings insight and
knowledge to others.
9. I am knowledgeable.
10. I am steadfast/have a steadfastness about me.
11. I have a desire to pursue holiness.
12. I am a learner…I seek new knowledge regularly.
13. I have high expectations for myself and those around me, especially when it
comes to faith matters.
14. I am passionate about the Lord, kids, sports, and worship.
