Is there room?

Is there room in your heart for a child?

Is there room in our lives for a new word today?

Is there room?

Is there room in my life for the Holy Spirit?

Is there room in my day to follow Jesus?

Is there room in my schedule to be wrecked?

Is there room?

Is there room in my mind to hear from heaven?

Is there room in my steps to be directed?

Is there room in my ministry to be guided?

Is there room?

What’s that you say?

There’s no room today?

There’s no room in the inn for a tiny baby?

Or there’s no room in your heart for a Savior?

What about the Creator?

Is there room in your life for your Maker?

Is there room for the Giver of life?

For the very Being that gives you the air you breathe?

Is there room?

Did you tell him “I love you” yet today?

Or has there not been any ‘room’ yet?

Is there room?

I pray that there will always be room to be used by God. The above poem was inspired by ‘the rest of the story’. A few weeks ago, I wrote about the afternoon that Nessa ‘stumbled’ along a gentlemen who was attempting to take his life. (The Road to Damascus) Little did we know that we were literally an answer to prayer.

A week after this happened, we heard ‘the rest of the story’. That same morning that we came across this man up on the mountain, he had been informed by a psychiatrist that he was “clinically insane or mad”. He stormed out of the office and took off for this remote location. His neighbor had accompanied him to the appointment and was extremely worried that he might do something irrational. So, she immediately sent out the message over the prayer chain. People were praying. And here we come up over the hill. Death was stolen by the gift of life!

The previous day we had no plans. But God held our steps in his hands before time was formed. He heard the cries of his children and used the availability of his children to answer those cries. I still can not wrap my mind around it.

Is there room?

I pray there IS room!

Who knows, you may be the answer to prayer…

You may be the answer to LIFE!
