If one picture is worth a thousand words, then this blog is pretty much a book in and of itself! I have so enjoyed this past month in Palenque. The people here will always have a special place in my heart. Each of the following pictures represents a prayer request. God has worked in amazing ways this past month and is going to continue to work long after we are gone…
Abuelitas…There are many older women whom are trying their best to raise their grandchildren due to the fact that the kids’ parents are in jail, drunk, ran away, etc.
Home cell groups…that the new believers would be discipled, encouraged and united. Also for an increase in numbers.
Salud…that he would continue to grow in his faith and walk with Christ. He is a symbol of the hope found in Christ for many in Palenque that are plagued with alcoholism.
Youth at Iglesia Olivo…that their fire would continue to grow and they would be a pillar in the church.
Iglesia Olive would serve the people in Palenque and continue to focus on community outreach and evangelism.
Healings…that the Lord would continue to heal people. Please pray specifically that He would heal Emelia of breast cancer.
Kids…all of his children are precious in His sight.
…last but not least, the hundreds of dogs that run the streets of Palenque…
