This journey has been very interesting so far in the way of teaching me how to live without: how to live without my everyday American comforts, how to live without my friends and family, and how to live without control. How easily God strips away what we used to think was important and shows us what we are here to do. We have all been called here into the Nations to be the hands and feet of God. Although we know there is work to be done everywhere, we have been hand picked to be exactly where we are today. Every place we go and every person I meet is confirmation that we have been placed in an area that is in desperate need of love and light.
We named our team “Salt and Light” from the bible verse Matthew 5:13-16. Ironically, while we were at a church in a small village in Thailand, a pastor said this to us: “One day when we meet again in heaven, we will all speak the same language and worship together. We will be one nation. Wherever you go, do not forget to be the Salt and Light of the world for others.”

It was confirmation that we were exactly where we were supposed to be.
HOWEVER, the reality of the race is that only one person on my team is fully funded.I have made my next deadline, but my teammate Carmella Nicholson has not. She still needs $4,000 by the end of this month to stay on my team. She has been called into the nations and we could use your prayers and financial support to keep her here! We do not want to loose a precious member of our squad or our team. She has tried many different means and is still working hard to be here!!
