Poland!
I
cannot begin to describe the “home” feeling I got as soon as we landed in
Poland. The names of the bus stops, trams, stores, street names, etc. are all
so familiar! It makes me miss my family. Oh how I wish they were here to
experience Poland with me. I am having a blast!
It
is so cool to actually live in the place all of my family is from. My heritage
is all around me. It gives me a whole new appreciation for all of the
traditions and cultures that I grew up with on my Dad’s side of the family –
they are all Polish!
The
food and desserts that my grandparents made and even the words and phrases that
my Grandma and Grandpa taught me at a young age all come back to me as I am
emerged into the culture here in Poland.

I
wish we were staying here longer, but I am cherishing every single moment here.
