Well,
we just finished our 2nd month of ministry in Haiti. We are
currently back in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with the entire squad [all
8 teams, all 54 of us]. We are staying at a YWAM [Youth With A Missions] Base. We
are having our first official “debrief” in which we are closing out the
Caribbean countries. Our coaches, Mike and Patti Paschall, flew in a few days
ago to be with us for this week. They brought us some goodies from the US. They
brought us some candy [skittles and starburst], some little debbies oatmeal
crème pies, and cheezits!! They sure know what our comfort foods are. We have
been craving cookies and candy ever since we left!…chocolate too! So it was
an extreme blessing to get these little treats from home. Thank you Mike and Patti!! =D They also came with cards and
letters that our friends and family mailed in to AIM for us. It was so great to
hear from people from back home. Thank you for your cards and letters – they were
of GREAT encouragement!

Reminder: If you would
like to write to me while I am traveling this year, please send your
cards/letters to:

Please note: I am only able
to receive cards, letters, pictures, small flat items… Mike and Patti will hand
deliver them to me at my debriefs, which happen at the closing of each
continent.. so I will only have a few more debriefs. These cards have brought
such great encouragement from back home, especially the pictures! I love
getting pictures [to remember what my friends and family look like haha] so
thank you for that!

I
was just informed that our ministry for Cambodia, which is working in the slums
at Rubbish Mountain, has not been officially confirmed yet. So as of right now,
my team might not be working at Rubbish Mountain. We are waiting to find out
more details and information as to what exactly we will be doing. It is all in
God’s hands, so I am not at all worried. They told us when we signed up for The
World Race that we needed to let go of all control, be flexible and trust in
God because nothing will ever really be constant other than God himself. Things
change, plans change and we should not hold tight to any expectations or
opportunities that come our way because nothing is ever really certain. So for
that being said, I will keep you updated on what our ministry in Cambodia will
look like next week.

Thank
you for your continued prayer and support. None of this would have been
possible without any of you, so I feel deeply committed to each and every one
of you and so blessed by your encouragement and support. Thank you. May God
pour His blessings upon each of you.
