We have made it safely to Panama after many travel days and long bus rides.

We will be working with a local pastor here in Guabito, Panama through organization mobilization starting up a church that has zero members so far in a dark community along the border of Panama and Costa Rica. So far we have been painting the church, cleaning it out, and the guys have been building a porch that will lead out to the bathroom. Not only is this the church where we will be having service but once we get water running it will also be where we are staying for our time in Guabito. Right now i am sleeping in my tent inside what used to be a chicken coop now the chickens just sleep next to us, they arent to kind allowing us to sleep.

We have been working on the church and doing evangelism, meeting with locals, getting to know them, the community and what life is like in Guabito. After we leave Pastor Jose will be continuing the church and leading the congregation.

Sunday- 9:00am-12:00pm Sunday school for adults and children followed by worship and a sermon one of us will lead.

Monday- our day off, today it is a day to do laundry and use the internet

Tuesday-evangelism until 7:00pm then worship/prayer night

Wednesday- a day of evangelism and team prayer and Bible study

Thursday- evangelism until 7:00pm then a Bible study at the church for the locals

Friday- evangelism and team time

Saturday- evangelism and church at night

The schedule is not set in stone and is likely to have some tweaks made to it for now this is what we have thought of with the pastor and what he would like to see.

I have made it a personal goal of mine to visit a local named Maria every day with someone who can speak Spanish. She lost her left arm in a tropical storm that happened here years ago, something fell on her arm and she lost all movement in it and had to have it removed. She is a beautiful older lady full of so much life and joy. She just needs someone to sit and spend time with her. She also helps watch her four year old grandson Luis, and her daughter comes and cleans her house once a week. She told us that her doors were always open to us. Please be praying for my time with her, it is a struggle for me to spend time with the people here because of the language barrier, please pray against any language barriers, that she will see Christ radiate out of me through my actions and love for her. Please pray that in our time here she will be able to hear about Christ. I look forward to the things this beautiful lady will teach me.

Also please be praying for my team and us unifying more and taking advantage of the time we get to spend together, this month has been better than any other month, though it can be chaotic at times we have grown closer to each other than we have in the past two months, we have learned to love each other on a deeper level and have learned to trust each other, we have opened our hearts and let down any walls we were keeping up, we are truly a family now and are growing together. However at the end of this month our teams could change so be praying that God can deepen our relationships now and prepare our hearts for what could be happening.
