ok so there are just some of my journal ramblings which means they may not make any sense to you.. but oh man theyre rocking my world ha. oh and the grammer, sentences, and spelling may be really bad. whoops
God is so good but not only is he good but he is truly beautiful!! He is so glorious and full of mercy, compassion, and love for us it just amazes me. It gets me all giddy and joyful like a little kid gets excited over a present that’s how I feel about the Lord. I have this image that I just love; and many people may have it too but it is God holding the whole word in His hands. Have you ever thought about that? Think about how big he is, how He is holding us, and never letting go. He has His hands wrapped around us and even people who don’t know it yet and he loves us so much. Those are some pretty big arms though; He is so big and mighty. Not only is he holding us the creation he made true and Holy in His image but he also made everything on this earth, from the seed that was planted in the ground to be a big sturdy tree, to the stars in the sky. How beautiful, what an artist he is and I hope one day others can walk on this earth and look around and see that God made that for us, how awesome!
Another beautiful thing that the Lord is just blowing my mind away with and it isn’t even anything really special but it is sunsets and horizons. Crazy I know, who would love sunsets so much, but I do. I love the colors in them as they start to set and how each day no sunset is the same from the colors to even the location that I watch them set at. They make me so happy again God is so beautiful, I even like looking in my side and rear view mirrors as I drive and look back at the horizons each horizon is different from the buildings, country side, and colors God has this huge canvas and each day he draws me a beautiful picture. I can only give my joy and thankfulness to Him I am so grateful that he has shown me his beauty in many ways.
You know we all go through these tough trials in our lives from birth to the day we die. For every person the trials may be different they could be trials in school, friendships, family, relationships, work, marriages, divorces, death of a loved one all of them are different but as most of us know God is with us. Yeah yeah yeah we’ve all heard that one before but I am guilty myself of even remembering that in hard times my first instinct isn’t always to rely on the Lord. It isn’t to cry out to him first and pray. But listen up it smacked me in the face one day God didn’t die for us just for those hard trials so we can look back and say yep God got me through that horrible time. No folks, he did die for us so he can be with us every day and in those hard trials but he didn’t bear His life on that cross just for hard trials but also great days! Not only do we need to remember him in hard times where it’s easier to remember Him but in easy times where it’s easy to forget Him because everything is going so great. Well that is because He is with us, He is helping us EVERY day! Good and bad he died on that cross for us for every day of our lives. So we need to bring to Him joy everyday that’s why he puts every cross road in our lives to give us endurance and bring Him joy and declare His name no matter what the day.
I have also been doing alot of thinking about child like faith… 🙂
