A constant question I have been getting is why are you doing this? This question is usually followed by a series of other questions on anything you could imagine, my favourite of course being “You know there’s no Starbucks in Africa right?” And to answer the question “Why am I doing this?” it’s for one reason alone and that is for once in my life I just want to take a huge leap of faith. I am ready to finally step out and do something radical with my life!
This trip for me is not about the places I am going to see or the weird food I will try, this trip is about the people I will encounter and the lessons I will learn. This trip is about His power, kingdom, and glory! Mind you I’m scared to death and I don’t know what to expect but I’m so beyond ready to finally take that jump, that leap of faith into the great unknown!
