It’s been a while since I have blogged. Life has been crazy. Let me fill you in on the past month of my world race life. My team left Ongole India at the end of Feb and got the opportunity to see the Taj Mahal with the whole squad in Delhi before heading to cold Romania.

We arrived in Romania where we traveled by bus to Brasov for our month 7 debrief. We spent 4 days in debrief exploring the city, worshiping, having meetings, seeing castles, and eating some good European food. It was a blast. This month my team got to serve with team Beloved and team Thriven. All the different teams travelled with the teams they were serving with to their designated towns in Romania. Our three teams travelled to Draganesti Olt, Romania and stayed in a mission’s house all month.

In Dragnesti we worked with a local church called Hope Church with the pastor Raul. Hope church has many different ministries including’ kids clubs, street evangelism, some manual labor, logistics, worship, picking up trash and more. Every morning our teams would wake up and  pray and worship at the church, and then pray on behalf of the city and different missionary families. During the day our three teams would go and do something different around the community. Daily we had three amazing meals cooked for us by my teammate Carrie and Team Beloveds Jillian. We have been spoiled this month with hot showers, nice beds, wifi, and home cooked meals.

We also had the opportunity to visit Greece. We got to go to Thesalaniki and walk along the Aegean sea and walk the streets where Paul preached. The experience was amazing. The travel there was the crazy part. We traveled what should have been 10, but 15 hours to Greece. We had 2 vans and 2 cars. My friend Sarah, Amie, and I rode with Tavi (one of the church staff) in his car. The other cars inspection sticker expired and we ended up waiting at a gas station 2 hours into the trip for 4 hours  for someone to from the church to   drive all the way to us to give us the papers we neededto get the inspection done.  Then one of the vans breaks went out and they had to get them fixed which luckily happened in only 2 hours. That was a blessing. We finally got to Greece at 8:30 pm even though we left at 3am. Sarah, Amie, and I had the pleasure of annoying our driver to keep him awake and the drive there was beautiful!

My experience in Romania was very pleasant. I enjoyed the people, the ministry, and the staff at Hope church and would love to visit again someday or do short term missions. I learned so much by being there and am so thankful there are people who are working long term for the kingdom. They have started so many kids clubs already and we are praying for more workers so they can increase the number of children learning about our savior. It all starts with a passion to reach the youth for the Kingdom.

I still have $67 I need to raise before I am fully funded. I have been given grace to raise this money but I need to have this money in now. If you feel led to donate, it would bless me tremendously. Please donate by clicking on the support me link under my profile pic. Thank you all for all the prayers, encouragement, and following me on my journey! May God Bless you.
