We arrived safely in Hong Kong last night and I am already in love with this city even though we won’t be here long.  Sunday we leave for different areas of China.  The reason for this post is to announce that I will be MIA this month.  We have to cut off all forms of communication (email, facebook, phone calls).  We will be watched very closely and desire to keep the missionaries we are working with safe.

I would appreciate your sweet, encouraging emails however.  I will be back in Hong Kong on November 12th where I will be able to read and cry at your wonderfulness and awesomeness and the rest of it.

Pray hard for our team this month that we will have strength, determination and a love for the people we are befriending.  I am thrilled beyond belief for the things we will be a part of this month.  Unfortunately I can’t blog or email about them because this is a closed country.  Pray for the communities that we will be a part of that they will see Christ in our actions even though our words will be few.  Pray that our perspective will remain on the right things instead of getting caught up in petty things.  Pray that a passion wells up in our spirits for not only the UNSAVED but the UNREACHED.

Just want to say in our little month of separation (tear!) that I love you all very much.  Your support and love for me have just swept me off my little feet and I will feel your prayers from home.

And my little trumpet tooting moment has come..it’s my birthday on October 25th.  I turn 26..yay!!!  My 25th year has been unbelievable and the best year of my life (no cliche!)

Peace out world.  See you in November.
