WE’VE REACHED THAILAND!  I forget how much I love and hate traveling at the same time.  All that lovely jet lag and drastic temperature changes.  But the in-flight entertainment, the really good airplane food (no joke!) and seeing places like Madagascar and Hong Kong from the air…ahhh!  I wouldn’t trade it for the WORLD.  Literally..hehe.

There is a distinct feeling as soon as you enter Asia.  It has been 10 years since I was here last.  But it was all too familar to me.  Everything here is different; the food, the way the people look, the culture and the language (which has its’ advantages and disadvantages.  #1. Hardly anyone can understand us..back to the land of charades.  #2. We can talk about whatever we want and no one will understand us. yay!)  I am thrilled beyond belief to be here.  We had our briefings this morning on the ministries we would be partnering with in Thailand and Cambodia (September) and I can already tell this trip is far from being over!!  There is so much in store and I can’t wait to share with you what God is doing in this part of the world!

Please pray for us as we have entered a part of the world that doesn’t even claim to be Christian.  Thailand alone is 90% Buddhist and very opressed.  We know this will flesh itself out as we start working with the people here so please pray for us.  Know your prayers are not in vain.  We need them more than you know!

More to come…
