After six months of praying, planning and working, I am finally off! Today, I am leaving for Houston where I will meet up with Becca and Emily and tomorrow we will drive to Harlingen, Texas. There, we will meet with our team and cross over to Matamoros, Mexico!
It has been a great week at home in Wisconsin. God showed himself faithful in so many ways:
My dear, sweet unreliable VW Jetta was sold this week. For all the problems it had, it sold to the first person to look at it. Praise the Lord for THAT!
I got to spend a great week with my family (minus Jenny and Travis who are in Paupa New Guinea) and got to spend time with life long friends (Congrats to my dear friend, Angie on her engagement!!)
And I fit everything for next year in my little backpack. World Race, here I come!
Goodbye to my sweet family and friends. I will miss you greatly!!!
