Many thanks to everyone who has been sharing my adventure via this blog, as well as Facebook. As I continue the second half of my journey, I find that I am still in need of some financial support. All of the things we do such as buying food or items for people in need or doing activities with them come from our own personal funds and are not provided for from the original $15,500.00 USD necessary to take this journey. As well, the purchase of toiletries, supplies, medications and miscellaneous items needed to complete the race are also our own responsibility. While I have been the recipient of much generosity, I have provided most of the money out of my own funds, which are rapidly being depleted. The fact that our Canadian dollar is loosing ground has not helped either. While the time to donate directly to me through The World Race website has passed, you can still donate to me personally.

You could also contact me through Facebook or contact my parents. Since we do not often have wi fi (we most often have to purchase that too) it may take me awhile to get back to you – but I will. If you have already donated, please do not feel obligated to do so again. I sincerely appreciate any and all donations that I have been given thus far, and would most certainly not have made it this far without help from our heavenly Father as well as the support and prayer of a lot of wonderful people.
