Greetings from Butende, Uganda! This is a very short update because the internet here is less than great. Although February is a short month, it is an extremely busy one for us. Our day begins at 9:00am and we finally get home around 8:00 pm each night. Most mornings we spend doing door-to-door evangelism and praying for people. We break for lunch and then hold an open-air crusade where we sing, dance, and preach the love of Jesus Christ to people in whichever town we are in that day. We have also prayed for the sick in the hospital and preached at a prison.

Yesterday I had the privilege to watch 8 people who gave their life to Jesus get baptized. The pool we originally were going to use did not work out, so we searched for another option. We found a swamp. It was full of algae, leeches and who knows what else. But no one cared! Each person came out of the water a new creation, with their old life completely gone! It was beautiful!

Please pray for us extra hard this month. There is a real spiritual heaviness over Uganda, and especially over our house. We have recently found out that a witch doctor has placed curses on us. Many of us on the team are having trouble sleeping and are having nightmares. We know that Satan is mad that we are here. But we know that Jesus has already conquered and where His light is, there can be no darkness.
