God is really working in me and around and it is mind-blowing. Last week when talking to my pastor, he introduced me to a couple that had joined our church a little bit ago who had a daughter that went on the World Race in 2012. I was able to talk to them and hear some of the amazing stories from their daughter’s experience and how God worked in her. It truly was inspiring and awesome to have someone to give me advice and tips for the race. It is also really great that now my mom has people in the church and close to help her and give her advice while I am gone. Then I actually got to meet their daughter this past Wednesday at church and got her tips and all from her.
I also got to meet another young lady, who just finished the race. My grandma’s friend knows this young lady’s family and was able to get me in touch with her. She actually was coming to visit some family that lives right near me. I was able to meet her and have lunch with her yesterday. It was so awesome to sit with her and her the awesome stories and work that she was able to do. She gave me so much advice and told me about different countries that I will be going to.
God is so incredible and providing so much for me. Meeting these two ladies were so encouraging and exciting. I can’t say how exciting I am becoming about this journey and making some many new friends along the way. So much to look forward to.
