To be completely honest, I have no clue what to expect while on the race. I know this is going to be a huge challenge but so rewarding. I have had the pleasure of meeting two ladies who have done the race and just hearing their stories and what they did has been inspiring. I just cannot wrap my mind around the fact that in less then six months I will be leaving to travel the world doing God’s work. Or that I will be away for 11 months. Right now, I think it is best just to not have any expectations because I have no idea what God will do during this process of getting ready or what will happen out on the field. I just going to rely fully on God and what He wants me to do. I can’t even explain the emotions I am feeling right now but I can say that I have never felt so close to God like I do right now.
