I am a little behind on my blogs and because of this some of you may think that I am still in Romania.  I plan to write more about our ministry in Romania.  Team leaders left their ministry sites in all over Romania on September 8 to head to Bucharest for a little R&R, as well as encouragement and learning.  We met with our squad leaders and felt like we were coming back home, since we spent 1 week in the same hostel during launch.  I personally learned so much about delegation and how to let go of control, lift the burden of so many responsibilities from my shoulders, and empower others in their gifts and how these things will help in strengthening the team.

The rest of the teams joined us for 2 more days and we just had a blast in Bucharest, hanging out as a whole squad again.  We hadn't been together as a whole squad since launch and it's so refreshing to see everyone.

On September 11 we decided to spend the night in the Bucharest airport since we had an early flight to Moscow, Russia on the 12th.  Something so cool happened during this time.  World Race squad 'A' (new squad 'A' because squad letters are starting over which means that there have been 26 WR squads sent out already!) was coming into Bucharest airport at 1am to begin their month 1 ministry.  They are coming into the ministries we just left which is so exciting.  Soooo…we stayed up and greeted them with loud cheers and spent time sharing how our past 2 months have been and just encouraging them into certain habits.  It was great and they were so thankful…this has never happened that 2 squads have met like this on the field.

Moving on, we left for Moscow at 8:40am and arrived at noon.  We stayed in the airport until 7:40pm, where we boarded a plane to head to New Delhi India.  We sat on the plane for a bit and then were told several different things in Russian (where is Slava when I need him :)) that ended in us getting off the plane.  We are now sitting in the Moscow airport…not sure when our flight is leaving for New Delhi.  However, we were given a golden ticket for a free drink in the airport.

This month my team is partnering with Michelle's team and we get 2 weeks with Lauren (our squad leader).  So 11 girls and 2 boys 🙂  We will be working with Youth with a Mission in Bangalore (south India).  Since our 36 hr train from New Delhi to Bangalore doesn't leave until the morning of the 14th, and we arrive in New Delhi super early the morning of the 13th, we planned on visiting the Taj Mahal during  the day.

Well, I guess we are moving towards a plane.  Thank you for your prayers!
