hello lovely friends 🙂
I’m still hanging out in Texas. Still reveling in the sweetness of my family and friends. Still soaking up the goodness of the Lord.
I’ve been abundantly blessed since I’ve been home. Blessed by the presence of the people I love. Blessed with a flexible job that I truly enjoy. Blessed with a free gym at a local church. Blessed with many opportunities to pursue community.
All of these blessings haven’t necessarily made transitioning easy, but they are reminders that God’s still “got me”. Reminders that He is the same God in America as He is in Africa. Reminders that there are people all around me that are dying inside, yearning for something more, and I’ve been called to love on them and set them free. I’m not going to lie, I’m not sure that my heart is in the States anymore. I left pieces of my heart all over the world, so it’s no surprise to me that I can’t exactly place in what nation it belongs.
BUT
God may not have revealed “where” I’m called, but He has revealed to “whom” I’m called. . The Lord has re-fashioned my heart into one that beats for my generation. I believe with all of my heart that this generation is a sleeping giant, one that needs to be awakened and set free from so many forms of bondage!
So, with that being said, I will be squad leading the World Race in either September or October; which means that I will be leading World Racers for the first 4 months of their race. My ministry will be the racers, rather than the organizations that we partner with around the world. I’ll be pouring into them and leading them into truth of the identity and destiny that the Lord has for them.
I’m running and jumping with excitement into the next season that He has for me :). I am raising support again (I know that you love to hear those words!), $6,000, which will cover expenses while on the field for 4 months with my squad and flights to debriefs towards the end of their race.
I would greatly appreciate your prayers and support as I prepare for training camp at the beginning of July. I have just a short time to raise support so I will be truly thankful if you will prayerfully consider partnering financially with me in this! Thank you for your prayers and support..they really do mean the world to me 🙂
