I had a few minutes with internet before we got ready to make our 3 day journey to Nepal, so here are a few pictures from around Moldova.
These are a few of the kids that attended our after school program at the church. We would make a pile of leaves under the tree and the kids would jump off this branch into the pile.
I mixed cement by hand for this masterful carpenter for a few days at the re-hab center. I attempted to apply cement to the wall and this man just smiled as half of the cement just fell to the ground. It really is much harder than it looks.

Our contact put this cross on the hill a few years ago. To the right is Ukraine and to the left is Moldova. In the background you can see the Nistru river which separates the two countries.
Moldova was a great place to spend a month, but I am very excited to move on. I will be in Nepal on Thursday. We are flying into Katmandu and I will be spending a month 2 hours south of Katmandu in the Katmandu valley.
