So I’ve been working on a blog on and off for about a week and a half now. I finally decided to get serious about finishing it this time last week but just as I was ready to get serious my computer decided to seriously mess up. Whenever I’m on it without any warning it will shut off and not turn back on. For a few days I was lucky enough to get it to cut on once a day for a little while but each day it gets worse and today I could only cut it on for about 3 minutes. I took it to a computer shop on Tuesday and of course as soon as I tried to show them what was happening my computer was magically fixed. I was leaving it with them anyway so they could install Photo Shop (for the amazing price of $5) but I forgot there was a password on it and they couldn’t do anything. Because of the Chinese New Year they are closed until Monday. I’m going to try to take it back then and I’m praying they will be able to fix it.

In other news… my team went to The Killing Fields and Genocide Museum this past weekend. It was extremely sad but it helped me better understand what the people of Cambodia have been through in the last 30+ years. We also went to the Russian market where I admittedly went a little crazy buying a lot of super cool, cheap stuff. I can’t afford to be doing that in every country, LOL.

We are getting ready to leave Phomn Phen for the weekend. We leave tomorrow morning at 9:30am for a 6 hour bus ride to Siem Reap where we will visit Angkor Wat. I’m pretty excited to see what most people refer to as “The Eighth Wonder of the World.”

Ministry is going great. I fall more and more in love with those children every day I’m with them. Our team has “Feedback” every night and Jenny and I have decided we are like two stay at home moms who brag about their kids to all their adult friends every day. We just can’t help it.. they are so dang cute and they keep us entertained for hours.

When we come back from Siem Reap we will begin our last week at Daughters. It will be a bittersweet time… saying goodbye to people I will never see again and trust that the work our team has started will continue once we are gone but I am also excited about the adventure God has in store for us in Thailand.

Prayer Requests:

Please pray for

1- My computer (it’s hard to stay in contact and let everyone know what’s going on here without a reliable means of communication)
2- Safe travels for our squad as 23 of us travel from Phomn Phen to Siem Reap this weekend.
3- Our last week at Daughters
4- The country of Cambodia and it’s people

Thanks, you guys rock! I hope you all have a great weekend!
