Hey folks, it has been a while since I wrote, so here is an update. Some of my plans got tweaked for February and I now have the awesome opportunity to travel to Greece to do some front-lines relief work with Syrian refugees as they arrive or make their way through crowded refugee camps. The team I would be on would be first responders as people land on the shores of Greece cold, hungry, and exhausted in every sense of the word. The only thing between me going and not going is an application I don’t want to start if I don’t have the financial backing to go. The final price for this 36-day mission would be probably around $4,000 at most, depending on the flight tickets I would need to book myself. (Tickets are actually fairly reasonable at this moment). So now I am trying to gauge how many people would be willing to partner with me financially, as well as prayerfully, so that I can go give help where it is most needed. If I can get just 20 people to donate $200, my trip is completely paid for. At this point, time is of the essence. There is a possibility that the trip will be cancelled if not enough people sign up. If I can get enough people to pledge, I will go ahead and sign up and send information on where to send your donation. You can post here, or send me an email at [email protected] to let me know you are pledging a certain amount. Thank you!
