The time has finally come. I am flying out tonight from Japan to the Philippines.
I can’t believe that the wait is finally over. There has been so much preparation, work, and prayer put into all of this and finally, I am heading out for my year long missions trip.
I wish I could say in confidence that I am completely ready to leave. In reality, I am still struggling to get everything packed and get everything else that needs to be accomplished done. It is extremely difficult to get everything I might need this next year into a single 50lbs pack and my carry on. Regardless if I am ready or not, I am catching that flight tonight and heading to Manila.

The seemingly impossible task. All of that there, into the two bags in the front left.
I honestly don’t know what to expect once I arrive in Manila. All I know as of now is that I am meeting up with our squad’s coaches and be driven to a location where I will be meeting up a few members of my squad that already arrived in the Philippines. The rest of my squad will be joining us the next morning. I can’t wait to be reunited with everyone again and begin this journey. I will definitely update everyone once I receive specifics on what we will be doing in the Philippines.
Please be praying for safe travels for all of us as both Q and R squad will be flying from all over the U.S. to LAX and then from there to the Philippines.
(Quick support update: Currently at $11,108.26. Only $3191.74 to go! Thanks everyone. God is truly faithful and has blown me away by His provision.)
