The Lord gave me Psalm 145:14-21 to share with Mercy yesterday.

Later on, He shared it with me.

I have been struggling with something for the past few weeks.  I didn’t realize that I had begun to believe so many lies about it.

I fell on my face again.

Sometimes, by the Lords grace, I choose humility but sometimes I trip and fall on my face in the middle of it.

But His word says…

“The Lord upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down.” (v.14)

I began to believe that I was lacking and that I needed to take things into my own hands.
“And You give them their food in due season.  You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.” (v.15-16)

I began to believe that You wanted to withhold good from me.
“The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works” (v.17)

I began to believe that you had left me.
“The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.” (v.18)

I began to believe that You had not heard me or had just refused to answer.
“He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.” (v.19)

I began to believe that you will let me perish in my haste and in my sin.
“The Lord preserves all who love Him” (v.20)

I began to believe that You had let satan prevail over me.
“But all the wicked He will destroy.” (v.20)

So…
“My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, and all flesh shall bless His holy name forever and ever.” (v.21)

I had begun to lose hope, but through the word that the Lord gave me to share with Mercy, He strengthened me and restored my hope as well.
